10 Signs it May Be Time to Let Go

How do we know?  How do we decide?

First of all, you have to realize that the ONLY thing you have control of in a relationship is yourself and how you react and respond.  Only you can decide when enough is enough.

Here are 10 signs that indicate it may be time to let go or seek help.

  1. You feel like you have become more of who someone else wants you to be than yourself.
  2. You have no say-so in the decisions of the relationship.
  3. You feel alone even when you are together.
  4. You cry alone with a helpless, frustrated, fearful feeling you can’t explain or discuss.
  5. You haven’t felt truly happy in a long time.
  6. You are always the one to sacrifice.  Your time, your feelings, your wants for theirs. They never reciprocate.
  7. You are tired, mentally and physically from dealing with issues.  You may have even become physically ill.
  8. You talk.  He “hears” you but you know he’s not listening.
  9. Everything feels like more of a chore than it once did.  Even things you once enjoyed.
  10. You constantly walk on eggshells.  Everything you say incites an argument or he will withdraw from you.

Every person wants and needs and DESERVES to be loved.  If you are experiencing numerous signs above you seriously need to rethink your relationship and have a serious discussion with your partner.  There are numerous ways that you can work to improve your relationship but you will have to work for it.  IF at any time you are experiencing physical or emotional abuse you should seek help immediately.
